“Dharma”

Serbu’s first Bred by Exhibitor AKC Champion, Dharma, has shown many talents and interests and is a wonderful addition to Serbu Tibetan Terriers. Out of Keon and Pippin, one can sum up Dharma in one line,: “Livin’ it Up Dharma Style”. She is a very playful, outgoing, drivey girl. Every day is always something special and she has to make sure everyone she sees agrees.

She is showing a ton of promise in the show ring except on her clown days. At those times, she is guaranteed to get the whole audience doubled over with laughter. But when this girl is on, she’s on! Dharma has shown the world she is very versatile. Her performance career began with competition in AKC Rally. Dharma earned her Rally Novice (RN) and Advanced (RA) titles in just six ring appearances. Update Dharma returned to the Rally Ring with 3 more clean performances to earn her Excellant (RE) title. The adventures did not stop there, however. Dharma began agility where she went in full throttle, earning her AKC Novice and AKC Open titles in short order. Dharma is currently working on earning Excellent AKC titles. Dharma also competes in CPE and after recieving her C-ATCH (championship) in Nov 2012,  she is now working toward C-ATE (which is like a grand championship). With only producing one litter of puppies Dharma earned her ROM after 3 of her pups earned there championships. With earning her ROM she also obtained her Tibetan Terrier Club versatility award proving she is a very well round example of the breed. As of June 2015, Dharma is now 70% done with her C-ATE. Dharma recently dusted off her obedience skills to participate in the 2015 Tibetan Terrier National Obedience competition. She showed her amazing skills by not only winning her class but went HIGH IN TRIAL. High in trial is given to the highest scoring dog in any of the regular titling classes in obedience. It is another dream Dharma has made come true.

Ninety-five percent of Dharma’s titles are owner/breeder accomplishments. On the home front, Dharma is also a medical alert Service Dog, too. She’s a companion, a friend, a comedian, and a shining star. I couldn’t be more pleased or lucky to have her in my life and as a part of Serbu Tibetan Terriers.
